This wine has been crafted from the most select Sauvignon Blanc parcels on Brancott Vineyard, where the finest individual rows have been identified. Obsessive control over quality in the vineyard, hand-harvesting, gentle pressing of the grapes and indigenous fermentation in large format oak vessels, has delivered an expression which leans towards savoury complexity and palate weight rather than primary fruit.
This wine will age gracefully over the next 8 to 10 years. Over time the primary fruit characters will give way to more complex savoury notes.
With its many flavour dimensions, this wine is a perfect match for richly flavoured seafood dishes, goat cheese or risotto.
