A blend of three clones (95, 1066, 809) planted on our Matau vineyard, and yielding at less than 2kg per vine in 2014, with lovely clean fruit on the vine showing classic Hawke's Bay peach and nectarine characters.

Made in a traditional style utilising barrel fermentation with partial solids, full malolactic fermentation, regular lees stirring and 12 months maturation in older French oak.

A very versatile food wine due to the relatively subtle oak regime and the balance between primary fruit and secondary characters; drinking really well now, it will continue to develop in bottle for a fair while yet.
