A field blend of four aromatic varieties from our Home Block vineyard in Waipara. A medium style aromatic white.
Grapes were hand-picked, whole bunch pressed, racked and fermented with indigenous yeast in old barriques. Lees aged for 5 to 6 months, then bottled. Bellbird Spring vineyard practises are in compliance with the organic standards of BioGro New Zealand.
SUGGESTED FOOD AND FLAVOUR MATCHES
Bitter chocolate mousse, nutty hard cheese (Aged Gouda), lightly spiced crustacean, roasted stone fruit, pineapple, ginger, Vietnamese flavours. Nothing too sweet.
