The Syrah grapes used for this wine came from two vineyard sites. The grapes were destemmed and crushed into open fermentation tanks. Post-fermentation, the wine spent 9 months in French Oak. The nose was full of black fruit (blackberries, blueberries and plums), sweet baking spices, violets, white pepper, toasty oak and smoke. The palate was full but elegant and refined. Fine-grained, velvety tannins made for a lingering finish. Lovely!
