Estate-grown in Waipara, the 2009 is the first vintage of this small boutique vineyard. Hand picked at 22.5 Brix, whole-bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in old Oak barrels.
The bouquet is fresh and vibrant with intense grapefruit, lemon and lime flavours. The palate is tight, crisp, minerally notes and dry finish.
The wine shows a good cellar potential and for the price an irresistible bargain.
